Challenge Project: August 2023 Annual Show

“Community”

As WE and the WORLD slowly recover from the COVID Pandemic Crisis we have begun to rebuild our sense of “Community.”

Artists rarely work in a vacuum. We need our communities to see our work, and our Communities need ART to reflect back to them the Beauty, and often the Stark Reality of the world around us as seen through the eyes of the Artist.

COVID robbed us of our sense of Community. Sure we have ZOOM and other ways of seeing everyone live online over the internet but nothing takes the place of seeing ART live and in person – talking to the Artist and standing inches away from an Art piece and enjoying being in the “Presence Of Art” and part of a very special “Community.”

How YOU express “Community” is entirely up to YOU. Interpret it in Nature, find it in your Family, in your Neighborhood.

How do you show us “Community” as you see it?

For those members wishing to participate please email your submission information to Craig at Craig@CraigsHouse.Org and remember your piece must fit in a 1-foot x 1-foot format. Hanging or sitting on a table.
