Carving is a subtractive method of sculpting. We will carve soap-stone miniatures in the style of Japanese miniature sculptures. 

The soapstone is soft yet firm enough not to crumble and easily carved with everyday simple tools.

Supplies Included:

Soapstone 5-inch height, 3 inch width, approximately.

Supply list:

Pocket knife or small carving knife. Recommend paper mask and apron
