Class participants will learn to sew a pine needle basket in the style of the Coushatta Indian tribe from central Louisiana. Everyone will start by making a trivet to learn techniques. When finished with the trivet, you will start a basket.

Supplies Included:

All supplies needed to make several baskets will be included in the fee.

Supply list:

Helpful items to bring from home: a bread bag or gallon ziplock, a pair of needle nose pliers and a hand or kitchen towel.
